Veggies Pockets Pizza

 It is an ideal snack for kids and adults, which can be extended for parties as starters or appetisers.
This recipe can also be made with plain flour sheets or pastry sheets, but this recipe posy uses leftover bread slices. Easy to make and tasty too. We all love pizzas and they are alternate of pizzas at home.

 

Ingredients :

2 tbsp butter 

1/4 cup finely chopped onion 

1/4 cup finely chopped cabbage

 1/4 cup finely chopped carrot 

1/4 cup capsicum finely chopped

1/2 tsp Black pepper powder 

salt according to your taste 

¼ cup mozzarella cheese grated

8 slice bread white / brown

1/34 water to seal

2 tbsp all purpose flour 

oil for frying




Recipe:

In a pan heat  oil and saute onion after that add carrot, cabbage , capsicum, black pepper powder and salt.

stir fry on high flame, until the vegetables are cooked well.

Transfer to a bowl and allow to cool completely add mozzarella cheese, tomato ketchup and oregano, mix well.

In a small bowl take plain flour and water mix well and make a paste.

Take a bread slice and trim off the edges and roll thin.

Put the stuffing on half of bread and seal tight with the help of plain flour paste.

After brush the paste all over pocket so that bread doesn’t soak too much oil.

Heat the oil and deep fry the veggies pockets pizza  on medium flame. or preheat oven and bake at 180 degree Celsius for 15-20 minutes.

finally, serve veggies bread pockets hot with tomato ketchup.
