Garlic bread
Garlic bread is very easy and tasty. In this bread we use fresh chopped garlic or garlic powder.It is also known as cheese garlic bread.
Ingredients for dough:
1 cup all purpose plain flour
1/4 cup water
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp dry oregano
1/2 tbsp Garlic powder or fresh garlic paste
1 tsp dry active yeast
1/8 cup oil
1 tbsp butter at room temperature
Ingredients for butter:
1/4 cup butter
Some fine chopped coriander leaves ( optional )
1 tsp dry oregano
1 tsp mix herbs
Chilli flakes according to your taste
1/3 cup mozzarella cheese
* also need all purpose plain flour for dusting
Recipe
In a bowl take milk put sugar n mix well until sugar dissolves after that add yeast and keep aside for 10 min it’s become frothy.
Take another bowl put maida salt oregano garlic powder and oil.
After 10 min mix both mixture together and knead into a soft dough.
Add 1 tsp butter and knead well till the dough is smooth.
Shape the dough into a proper round.
Cover it with dry muslin cloth and keep aside for 45 min or till dough is double in size.
Put the dough on the plane surface and knead it very well . Stretch the dough using both hands and knead well again.
Divide into 2 part n roll into oval shape.
Spread same butter oregano all over and put some mozzarella cheese on half part and fold other side of the dough.
Seal the edges with the help of water.
Brush the butter on the top of bread n sprinkle the oregano and chili flakes.
Make the cut marks on the top with the help of knife.
Bake preheated oven at 180 degree for 20 to 25 min.
When complete baked then again apply butter on the top of bread.
